Commitment to Quality

Nurses and nursing staff at West View Healthy Living take great pride in delivering quality, compassionate care to residents. In a Medicare compare search, West View Healthy Living provided information for 10 quality measures, and there were no deficiencies cited. The average number of nursing staff hours per resident per day is 4.0 hours. This means you or your loved one receives an average of four hours of personal attention daily, and therefore, translates into a greater comfort level. Some residents may require more care; West View provides whatever is necessary.

All staff are required to be CPR certified, and all attend regular quality control seminars. A certified registered nurse serves as the Director of Nursing, and we offer on-site licensed nursing services 24/7. The Medical Director is in the building 6 days a week.
A recent Ohio government survey of residents and family members rated West View at 89.4%. The state average is 87.1. Again, this statistic means that a high percentage of residents and family are satisfied with the care of West View Healthy Living.

Five-Star Rating

West View’s reputation has been built on years of award-winning outcomes and satisfied patients and families. And now, we’ve achieved the highest ranking for overall quality from CMS, the federal agency that runs the Medicare and Medicaid programs… a 5-star rating.
What determines a five-star rating?

  • Health-inspection results
  • Adequacy of nursing staff
  • Quality of medical care

What does a five-star rating mean for residents, patients, families and area seniors? It means they can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing they have a skilled care center that provides exceptional care.
